Imperialism is a positive thing which has changed the world in various ways. If a country is powerful, there desire to help other countries by expanding their rule over foreign countries. I think that imperialism was good in some ways because it gave a positive image of the ruling country to the country that was colonized. Economic factors such as the the growth of of industry in Europe because of the natural resources. People became patriotic and loved their country. The advances in military developed and also technologically. Lastly the Humanitarian aid with the spread of religion which is a very good factor in teaching people and educating them and medicine and law to help people if they are in need. Examples of positive imperialism which changed various countries like Britain which had taken new territories, France and Russia's expansion. Secondly the growth of imperialism in Europe and Asia, and as the history shows us the emperors Asian and European countries had.
Even though imperialism shows aggresive authority sometiomes in the begging, but after there is a good result at the end, as we can see today, the US is the leading country in the world. Sometimes a country doesnt have the power and capabilities to run itslef and it's people so if people have come from foreign countries and conquered it is to help them but also to use up some of their natural resources, this joins the nagative effects of imperialism. I think imperialism should stop in our days and everyone should rule themselves and be free in their country.
