After War, Finding Peace and Calm in a Garden...

Reggie Mourning was is a mortar unit veteran in Vietnam. He had hard
tasks and saw death. After coming from war he worked as a trucker,
remembering the days were he was at war.

Today Reggie Mourning is part of a group of veterans who harvest in a garden where they found calm and peace, they plant tomatoes and eggplant, lettuce and kale, basil, squash, corn, peppers and collard greens. They find it a calm place where it helps them relax and forget allthe harsh moments spent in Vietnam...

This summer, veterans harvested more than 1,000 pounds of produce which they can give or sell to people. This is a positive effect toward people and to these veterans...
